who am i

Who Am I
My name is Holly Ann Savoie. I was born on February 2,1996 in St.John  Newbrunswick. I currently live with my mother and father in Charlottetown ,Prince Edward Island. My mother is originally an islander and my father was born in Newbrunswick. I have a younger sister named Ashley Savoie who is in grade 10 at Colonel Grey High School.
Throughout my life I have lived in New Brunswick, Ontario, and St.John. Of all those places P.E.I is my all time favorite. I love the beaches and the summers are truly magnificent. I have lived in the community of Sherwood for nine years now. I have also lived in many different places in P.E.I like Cornwall, Summerside, and now Sherwood.
Some of the schools I have attended are Westwood Primary School, which was a very welcoming school. I went there from grade 1-2 then I moved into Sherwood and began to go to school at Sherwood elementary. I finished elementary school there and moved onto Stone Park Junior High where I met some of my best and closest friends. Those were the most dramatic teen years of my life but I would not trade them for anything because they made me who I am today. Now I am attending Charlottetown Rural High School and am trying to get through the last few crucial years I have left.
Just this year I was offered a very tremendous opportunity to take part in the annual Culinary Skills Canada Competition. I was very excited and nervous to take part, considering culinary is something I want to pursue in life. I had ended up coming in second place, which gives me a chance to improve myself for next year. It was a great experience for me and taught me a lot of what I needed to know. It was a very beneficial chance, and I can’t wait to take part in it next year.
Another important and beneficial experience that happened to me was getting a tour with my culinary class. Getting to meet the chefs in person see the action in the kitchen, and how well organized and well kept everything in the kitchen was. We also got to enjoy a three course meal in the upstairs fine dining room of the Lucy Maud. It made me feel so important eating that fancy food, dressing fancy and having the chefs serve us themselves. The view was marvelous .It made me realize then that cooking was something that inspired me and I was going to do anything it takes to become a chef.
I am not in any sports, but I enjoy hula hooping and working out at AFC in my spare time. I also like taking pictures. I was fortunate to get a professional camera from my parents for Christmas. So now I am able to take clearer and more focused pictures.
My favorite style of music is rap and country. Two totally different genres, but they are both inspiring and soothing all the same. Some of the rappers I listen to which inspire me are Biggie Smalls, 50 cent, Tupac and Madchild. The country singers I listen to are Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church and Jason Aldean. Music is a big part of me, it is a stress reliever and I try to listen to a few songs each day. Music can bring a person into their own happy world when things seem at its worst; it’s able to move people and change people’s feelings.
